Emotional eating? – Did you know that your unconscious mind encourages you to eat when you’re bored, depressed or anxious? It thinks it’s making you happy!!
Now consciously you know it’s not a good idea to eat this much but it’s like one part of you is saying, “eat it… eat it” whilst another part is saying, “No, I want to slimmer, fitter, healthier”, with you being caught up in a loop of struggling to lose weight. Slim Via Hypnosis uses a combination of cognitive strategies, positive suggestions, affirmations, respect, motivation, confidence building & forward pacing, using techniques including elements of CBT & NLP to provide you with tools and strategies to help lose and maintain your weight loss.
Anxiety
Feeling anxious can be completely normal, but when these feeling become so disabling, with the anxiety always there, on your shoulder, weighing you down. At night, it stops you getting off to sleep and, if you wake in the early hours, it kicks in at once, preventing you from dropping back to sleep again quickly. Sometimes, it may all be too much, and you find yourself panicking. when, suddenly, for no reason you can fathom, your heart starts to pound; you are sweating and shaking; struggling to take in enough breath, you feel that you are choking, your stomach drops to the ground
There are many different types of anxiety, some of them being: generalised anxiety disorders (GAD), social, phobia, panic attacks, separation, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) & intrusive thoughts.
Pain
Using revolutionary new methods to dramatically reduce or remove, rather than just manage those old pain messages. Persistent pain often serves a purpose when it relates to a new injury or problems, it gives us the urgency to deal with or seek medical attention, but the longer you have had the pain the more likely it is that it no longer serves a purpose. It seems as if nothing can be done (medically) and your Doctor prescribes pain relief.
Together we will challenge if that persistent pain is still appropriate and if not, then typically reduce the old pain messages.
All that is required is for us is to convince your unconscious that the old messages are no longer needed

Phobias often begin in your childhood and are irrational and disabling fears that produce a compelling desire for you to avoid the dreaded object or situation. There are several types of phobias, which can be specific to one thing such as spiders, needles, emetophobia, heights etc, or a social phobia, a social anxiety disorder – an irrational fear where you feel you may be criticised or embarrassed by other people

Any serious illness can affect how you think & feel. Receiving a diagnosis that could potentially be life changing or fatal may raise unfamiliar and frightening feelings for patients and their loved ones, going through cancer can be a devastating experience. Each person’s emotional response to cancer will depend on various factors, including an individual’s support system, coping style and perception of illness.
As with many types of complementary therapy, some people with cancer use hypnotherapy to help them relax and cope with symptoms and treatment. Hypnotherapy might help some people feel more comfortable and in control of their situation

Childrens Therapy
I can work with your child using EFT (tapping) or Hypnosis depending on the child’s and guardian’s preference. As you can imagine, it’s quite unlikely that a younger child will sit still and let themselves be hypnotised, so I use therapy though play and EFT, with each child being given their own Teddy with the tapping point marked. Parents / Guardians will also be taught how to tap with their child
